Keasel is a passionate supporter of Philadelphia sports and enthusiastically cheers for the Eagles. Go Birds! And Ring the Bell! He has been playing soccer since he was three years old and continues playing at 28. Keasel has played soccer at the high school, collegiate, professional, and international levels. In addition, he has been coaching soccer since 2015 and still coaches today. He finds great joy in coaching the youth and helping them to grow and develop. When asked about what motivates him to get up in the morning, he gave the most admirable response. His sense of responsibility towards others is what drives him to rise even on days when he feels like staying in bed.

One of his main hobbies growing up was definitely soccer. He also values staying active and working out. He also loves to dance and learn different styles. He enjoys singing, even though he may not be the best at it. Additionally, he enjoys reading, watching movies, and watching the NFL. He describes himself as an introverted extrovert, enjoying both days spent at home and days spent being social.

Keasel was also a player for the Barbados national team. Growing up his dream occupation was to be a professional soccer player so achieving that quest was one of his proudest moments. He fondly remembers the great memories he made with the team and all the amazing places he traveled to. Some of the places he was able to visit with the team include Barbados, Aruba, Martinique, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Grenada, Trinidad, Dominican Republic, Guyana, El Salvador, Curacao, and Canada.

Keasel graduated with a Business Minor in sociology from Providence College. He said, “Let’s Go, Friars!” He then shortly after got drafted into the MLS with the San Jose Earthquakes. He was the 4 pick, 3rd round. He ended up playing soccer professionally for 4 years. He Left Pittsburgh, then in 2017, he came back because he had a wrist injury in NY trying out for teams the day before. He was also supposed to sign a contract but then he tore his Achilles shortly after. So after that, he had to take some time to recover then in 2018, he had the opportunity to try out for a team in Richmond, Virginia.

He stated he was feeling uneasy and frustrated after injuring his Achilles. However, after recovering, he had an important decision to make. He wanted to get back into playing soccer, but the contract and pay that were offered were not the best. He realized that if he accepted the contract, he wouldn’t be able to fully commit to a career. So he put it off. He started working with Mehta and decided that sales was the career path he wanted to pursue and grow in. The contract shortly then dissolved, and they found someone else. So at this point, he was all in.

In December of 2018, he joined the company and initially focused on sales. However, his attention shifted when he saw a colleague promoted and became interested in how he could achieve the same. After a conversation with the company president, he gained a better understanding of the bigger picture and a clear path toward advancement. He is a determined individual who works tirelessly towards his goals. He put in extra effort, working early mornings and late nights, and achieved his goal of reaching management by continuously hitting his targets. When he was asked who inspired him to pursue the career he has today. He stated his mom, “She is the type of person where as long as I am happy she is happy” and he was happy with his career choice.

During his lifetime, he spoke about various individuals who had a significant impact on him. He found it challenging to pick just one, as many people had influenced him throughout his life. Over the years, he had several coaches, teachers, business mentors, and colleagues who had helped guide him. He considers himself fortunate to have been surrounded by so many influential people. However, his goalie coach in college stood out as the most influential. This coach pushed him harder than anyone else and held him to a high standard, emphasizing the importance of punctuality. Some of his Favorite Quotes are from his mentor “He is so far in last he thinks he is first” and “Nobody ever drowned in sweat”. -Coach White

When speaking about his promotion to management, Keasel attributes his success to his mindset and consistent work ethic. Some of his most memorable moments with the company so far have been getting promoted to assistant manager, management, and a paid trip to Cancun. He has been in charge of an office since September 2021 and is still in that position. He appreciates the flexibility he has with his schedule and the financial advantages of being a business owner. He expressed his admiration for individuals who join our company without prior experience and leave with valuable assets that can aid them in their future careers. He also finds joy in witnessing colleagues who have become friends receive similar opportunities as him.

We inquired about his experience and asked pertinent questions that we believed he could provide valuable insight on, given his sports background and transition into sales. One of our queries was whether he believed sales was suitable for everyone. His response was a resounding no, as he felt not everyone possesses the mindset to take a risk on themselves. We then asked how his background in sports contributed to his successful career in sales. He attributed his success to the discipline, time management, work ethic, performance-based environment, and desire to win sports instilled in him. He also mentioned that team cohesiveness was transferable to sales.

During our interview, Keasel spoke about the importance of teamwork and the positive impact it can have on new employees. He emphasized the value of being open to learning new things and having a strong work ethic. When asked for advice for those just starting their careers, he stressed the importance of having a “student mindset” and continuously seeking knowledge. “Also, don’t be afraid to work your socks off for the first few years.”

When asked about the toughest challenges with the company thus far, Keasel replied that there haven’t been any significant issues at work. The only challenge that he faces is not being able to control certain uncontrollable situations. He is in control of how he shows up, but he cannot control people and how they show up.
